Park Rangers Searching For Missing Person
Park Rangers in the Great Smoky Mountains National park continue to look for a missing person. The car of that missing person was found Thursday night at the Cosby Campground in the national park. On Friday, a 12 member search team conducted a search in the area beginning at the Cosby Campground Amphitheatre. So far, park rangers have not found that missing person. The car that was found was from out of state, and the person’s identity has not been released.
This is a different missing person’s case from the one that is being investigated by the Cocke County Sheriff’s office. In that case, 29 year old Alexander Gilmore was last seen near the Dollar General on Old Highway 411 during the morning of April 6th. He has not been heard from since.
