16 Year Old Charged With Assault

A 16 year old boy was arrested over the weekend after assaulting his mother. The boy’s mother told police that her son opened the refrigerator and took out a bottle of rum and began chugging it in front of her. The woman says when she attempted to take the bottle away from her son, he struck her in the face leaving a cut under her eye. The mother of the boy stated that she did use a mop to get her son off of her. When police arrived they found the 16 year old smoking marijuana. That male juvenile was taken into custody and charged as a delinquent juvenile and is now charged with assault.
