40 Cats Brought Out Of Hurricane Ravaged Florida
40 cats have made their way to middle Tennessee from hurricane ravaged southwest Florida. Animal Rescue Corps had joined with Bissell Pet Foundation, Humane Society Naples and Race For Life Rescue to fly to Florida and bring rescue equipment and supplies to area ravaged by Hurricane Ian last week. When that flight returned, it had some company. 40 cats that had been in various animal shelters and rescues. Those kitties are being taken care of at the Animal Rescue Corps’ Rescue Center outside Nashville. They are receiving medical and emotional care at the center. The American Rescue Corps says as the human death toll continues to rise, there is no idea how many animal casualties there will be from Ian’s wrath.
