CCSO Gets Car Donation
Cocke County agencies continue to see the generosity of other governmental agencies in other areas of the country. On the heels of the Cocke County Fire Department and the Parrottsville Volunteer Fire Department being donated fire engines, the Cocke County Sheriff’s office just received a 2017 Dodge Charger patrol unit from the Jackson Township police department in Ohio. The Cocke County Sheriff’s office lost several of their cars in the recent flood. The Dodge Charger, with 120,000 miles, will be placed into service soon, once it has the sheriff’s department logo in place and the sheriff’s department radio installed.
