Two People In Custody Regarding Greene County Shooting
Two people have been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting that happened last week in Greene County that sent a woman to the hospital. Last Friday, October 11, around 3:40 am, Greene County deputies responded to a burglary in progress at a home located in the 7000 block of Old Stage Rd. A man stated that someone had entered his home and that he had gone to a neighbor’s house to call for help because his girlfriend was still inside. When deputies arrived, they found a 24-year-old female with gunshot wounds to her hand and back. The victim was flown to Johnson City Medical Center for treatment.
On Wednesday, the Greene County Sheriff Department’s Criminal Investigation Division, along with officers of the Drug Task Force, took two people into custody in relation to that shooting.
23 year old Mikaila Chapman-Delotto of Greeneville (Hawkins County), & 20 year old Stephen “Chastin” Turner of Mosheim are both charged with:
• Two counts of Especially Aggravated Robbery
• Aggravated Robbery
• Theft < $1,000
• Criminal Responsibility (Attempted First Degree Murder)
They are each being held on $255,000 bonds are due to be arraigned in Greene County court Friday morning.
Another person involved in the shooting is still at large. Warrants have been issued for 29 year old Trevonde “TJ” Conner of Knoxville and Detroit, MI for Attempted First Degree Murder, two counts of Especially Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Robbery, and Theft under $1,000
