Tennessee Football Releases 2025 Schedule
The Tennessee Vols 2024 football season has not yet ended as the playoffs beging next weekend, but we already know who the Vols will play in 2025. The schedule for next season for the Tennessee Vols was released on Wednesday. Josh Heupel and crew will open the season on August 30th taking on Syracuse, but not at home and not in New York. That game will be played in Atlanta at the Mercedes-Benz Dome.
The Vols will then host East Tennessee State on September 6 to begin their home schedule, which starts with three straight at home. The second of those home games will be their first SEC contest, bringing the Georgia Bulldogs to Neyland. It will mark the earliest meeting between the two teams in 30 years.
The first SEC road game will be September 27 at Mississippi State. Other games of note, Tennessee will travel to Alabama on October 18, head to the swamp to take on Florida November 22, and finish the following weekend at homre against Vanderbilt on November 29.
The Vols have two open dates in the schedule next year, October 4 and November 8. The SEC Championship game will be played on December 6 in 2025. The full schedule for Tennessee is available at the link below.
