CCSO Involved In Vehicle Pursuit This Weekend

The Cocke County Sheriff’s office was involved in a vehicle pursuit over the weekend, which ended when that suspect’s car crashed near Wilma’s on Jim Town Road. The driver, a Hispanic male, fled on foot. The sheriff’s office issued a warning for area residents to be alert and not open the door for the suspect. It was believed that the driver and the other two individuals in the car would be seeking a way to travel to Johnson City. The driver was apprehended Sunday, and the other two suspects in the vehicle have also been taken into custody. the sheriff’s office will release more information about this incident and the three individuals involved once the investigation is complete.
