Youth Pastor Arrested

A Greeneville man has been charged after police in White Pine say he was having an inappropriate relationship with a 17 year-old girl. According to police, 48 year-old Wesley Brobeck worked as the youth minister for Freedom Fellowship Church of White Pine’s Greeneville campus. Employees at the church notified police about the relationship and Brobeck was then fired by the church. White Pine police were notified and began investigating. Brobeck was arrested Saturday night at his home. He is charged with sexual battery by an authority figure and statutory rape by an authority figure. He is being held in the Jefferson County Detention Center.
