Man Dies In Three Wheeler Crash In Sevier County

One person is dead after a crash that happened on the east side of Sevierville this week. According to Sevierville police, a Nissan pickup truck was heading westbound on Dolly Parton Parkway, US 411, and slowed down to turn into the parking lot for Chubby’s Restuarant. A three wheeled vehicle traveling behind, then struck the back end of the Nissan pickup. The driver of the Can-Am Spyder three-wheeler was 75 year old James Butler of Sevierville. He was transported to the Leconte Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the Nissan pickup was also taken to LeConte, but with just minor injuries
