Smokies Set Record

The Tennessee Smokies on Saturday night did break the world record for opening the most pull tab cans at the same time. The old record was 1,134 set back in 2013. Attendance for the Smokies game Saturday night was 6,907. Fans were given a can of Cheerwine soda when they entered the stadium….and at the annointed time, all of them popped their tops…and the Smokies have the new Guiness world record.

The Smokies had fireworks after each game over the weekend. They have announced that they will have fireworks again coming up after the games on July 16th & 17th and July 30th & 31st.
