Two Teens Arrested At Kenjo Market

Wednesday morning Newport police were called to the Kenjo Market at Cosby Hwy and I-40 about 2 people asleep in a vehicle. When officers arrived, they had a hard time waking both the driver and passenger from their slumber. The driver was 19 year old Hayley Arwood…the passenger 18 year old Devin Goins… Officers stated that Goins and Arwood smelled of marijuana…Goins had a bulge in his pocket which turned out to be a bag of marijuana. Both individuals performed poorly on field sobriety tests and were arrested for public intoxication…Arwood was also arrested for DUI…Goins arrested for simple possession.
