Summer Wells’ Brothers Removed From Home

A new twist in the Summer Wells case…according to the father Don Wells, the family’s male children have been removed from the home. Last Wednesday, July 21st, the Department of Children’s Services confirmed that they were involved in the case. Don Wells told a tv station in the Tri-Cities that DCS had removed his boys from the home. When asked if the boys were removed from the home for their safety…Don Wells stated there was more to it than that. Wells stated that he believes the boys’ being removed had its origins in a drinking episode of his recently. Summer Wells disappeared from the family home in Hawkins County on June 15th and has not been seen since. Around 1,000 tips have come in to the TBI but none have lead to any credible leads.
