Gas Prices Down…A Little
Gas prices in Tennessee have fallen…just a little bit… 2.1 cents per gallon in the past week, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of stations in Tennessee. Gas prices in Tennessee are still 2.2 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and almost 95 cents higher than a year ago. According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Tennessee is priced at $2.09 in Madisonville…that’s in Monroe County…In Cocke County prices range from $2.64 a gallon to $2.77….that’s about average in the area…Hamblen County has the most expensive with most prices around $2.89.
The national average price of gasoline is $3.14/g today. The national average is up 4.7 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 97 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
