Morristown Police Arrest Two On Drug Charges In Stolen Vehicle

Morristown police on Sunday captured a stolen vehicle and made two drug arrests all at the same time. Police were responding to a call on Buffalo Trail about a suspicious vehicle sitting at Tom’s Sporting Goods…officers found 2 people in a 1986 Chevrolet S10 pickup…unresponsive. In that vehicle 25 year old Austin Self of Morristown and 24 year old Raven Butler of Dandridge. Police were able to get both occupants to respond and remove them from the vehicle….a bag with 10.3 grams of methamphetamine was found on Austin Self…the Chevy S10 was found to be stolen out of Hamblen County. Both Self and Butler were arrested on drug charges.
