Boone NC School Victim Of Same Hoax Of Hawkins County School

A school in Boone, NC was locked down on Wednesday due to someone saying they were a distraught child calling 911 and saying they were at the high school and were going to start harm others. The school was placed on lockdown and police searched the property, but no threats or suspects were found. The lockdown was lifted and students were released around 4 yesterday afternoon. Police in Boone NC say the incident is “very similar” to the one that led to a lockdown at Volunteer High School in Hawkins County just last week. Investigators are still looking into that incident…now Boone NC authorities are investigating their incident as well.
