Cocke County Blugrass Festival This Saturday

Get ready for some bluegrass. The Cocke County Bluegrass Festival is this Saturday August 21st at the Cocke County A&I Fairgrounds. Gates will open at noon and the music will kick off at 1…headlining the show is International Bluegrass Music Association Hall of Fame member Larry Sparks and his band the Lonesome Rangers. Larry Sparks is a legend in bluegrass music, starting his career as an original member of Carter Stanley’s Clinch Mountain Boys in 1966. There will be a car show the entire day and a an auction benefitting Madylyn Bible in her fight against Hodgkin’s Lymphoma will be held as well. Food vendors will be on hand and there is free parking as well.
