Sevierville PD Hosting Driver Training For Young Drivers
In an effort to improve the driving abilities and overall safety of younger drivers, the Sevierville Police Department (SPD) has scheduled a FREE 12-hour Collision Avoidance Training (CAT) class…that class taking place over two sessions, the first from 6-9pm on Friday, October 22 at the Sevierville Police Department and a second session on Saturday, October 23 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Sevierville Convention Center. The class is free and is for drivers 16-20 years of age…who must have a valid drivers license and need to provide their own vehicle with current insurance. Participants will receive both classroom and practical driving in a controlled environment…The training will provide young drivers with the knowledge and skills to be safer and less likely to experience serious collisions.
