Woman Arrested For Misuse Of 911

A woman was arrested on Monday for misuse of 911. Cocke County deputies dispatched to a home on Cosby Hwy in Cosby Upon arrival they spoke with 28 year old Christian Ball who said her face was melting and needed an ambulance. EMS arrived on scene but Ball stated she did not want to go to the hospital. While EMS was driving off, Ball ran after them, waved them down and informed them she changed her mind and did want to go to the hospital. After entering the ambulance, Ball stated she changed her mind again and did not want to go….telling deputies that the lights on the ambulance were going to kill her. After further investigation, Ball admitted to taking Methamphetamine within the last few days along with Roxicodone. Ball had called 911 three times within 24 hrs , between Sunday & Monday, and all calls were for her face melting off. Ball was removed from the ambulance and taken into custody for misuse of 911, and transported to the Cocke County Jail.
