Morristown Man Charged With Threatening To Kill Brother
Police in Morristown dealt with a man who resisted arrest over the weekend. Police in response to a disturbance came upon 35 year old Preston Profitt who had an outstanding warrant for domestic assault. When police ordered Profitt out of his vehicle, he refused…that led to the officers having to physically remove him with Profitt struggling to stay in the vehicle…at one point grabbing the steering wheel. Officers had to then take Profitt to the ground as he still resisted. Profitt was finally taken into custody. He had been sending threatening texts to his mother…threatening to kill his brother. Preston Profitt has been charged with domestic assault/intimidation plus resisting arrest.
