Jefferson County Police To Hold Memorial Caravan This Evening

Jefferson County Police officers will be paying tribute to our fallen heroes in that deadly terrorist attack in Afghanistan recently. All Jefferson County Law Enforcement Agencies will participate in a Memorial Caravan this evening. The route will begin at 7:30pm and will start on Main St. at State St. in White Pine, travel on SR 113 to US 25/70 into Dandridge to SR 92 into Jefferson City left onto Hwy 11E westbound eventually winding up at the First Baptist Church in Strawberry Plains where Pastor Tony Hayes will lead everyone in a prayer for the fallen and their families.

The caravan will consist of 13 cars to represent each of the 13 lives that were lost in that attack on August 26th.
