Cocke County Woman Shot With BB Gun During Assault

A woman showed up at the Cocke County jail Sunday to report she had been assaulted. Megan Leann Wilson told deputies that she was “choked” and “shot with a BB Gun.” Wilson stated she had been in an argument with Billy Mcmahan at their Overlook Way address. Wilson stated that during the argument McMahan hit her, choked her with his hands while holding her to the ground…then he shot her three times with a BB gun in the left arm then twice in the right arm. Later Sunday, deputies went to the Overlook Way residence and made contact with Billy Paul McMahan who was placed under arrest and transported to the Cocke County Jail…charged with aggravated domestic assault.
