Covid Deaths Down In Cocke County

Cocke County has seen a decrease in deaths from Covid over the last 2 weeks…with just one death reported for the 2 week period ending on Wednesday September 8th…there are currently 625 cases in Cocke County. Greene County is one of the hardest hit in the area reporting 14 deaths with 1,529 current cases. Sevier County has more cases with 1,575 but had 10 deaths. Hamblen County currently has a little over 1200 cases but only 3 deaths recorded from Covid over the last 2 weeks. Jefferson County reporting no deaths over that period…they currently have 1,073 cases in Jefferson County.
