Morristown Woman Arrested For Stolen Tag and Drugs
Police were called to investigate a woman passed out in a vehicle in a stall at Morristown’s Finest Car Wash. When an officer arrived the woman was pulling out of the carwash and onto west Andrew Johnson Hwy. He then observed the woman abruptly change lanes which caused other vehicles to slow down to keep from hitting her. The officer called in the tag on the woman’s black Hyundai and it came back reported as stolen. A traffic stop was initiated and at the wheel of that vehicle was 29 year old Tiffany Driskell of Morristown. Driskell was under the influence and could not perform sobriety tests. Driskell opened her purse at one point and the officer spotted several syringes and a tourniquet associated with drug use. A search of that purse yielded schedule II and schedule IV prescription drugs plus a baggie containing pieces of a suboxone strip…Driskell did not have a prescription for any of the drugs in her purse. She was arrested on charges of possession of schedule 2, 3 & 4 drugs. The stolen tag was returned to the rightful owner.
