Construction Continues At Cocke County Courthouse

Several of the renovations have been completed inside the Cocke County Courthouse…however, crews are getting ready to move forward with the next step. Starting sometime this week and continuing into the next, crews will be painting the inside of the courthouse. The hallways and stairways in all 3 floors could be wet at times. The Cocke County Sheriff’s office reminds citizens to be aware that there may be wet paint in those areas over the next week or two as the painting job gets done. Also in this next phase, re-construction of the women’s bathroom will be taking place as well. The men’s room construction was completed about a week ago.
