Car Seat Safety Event Saturday

Tomorrow, Healthstar Physicians Premier Medical will be hosting a car seat safety event at their new Newport Towne Center office. From 9-2 on Saturday, a technician will be on hand to inspect your child’s car seat and make sure the seat is properly secured, is properly installed and make sure that it fits your child correctly. According to statistics from the National Highway Traffic Safety Admin. about 60% of all car seats are improperly installed…they also say that motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for children under the age of 13. So, a properly installed car seat is very important and with tomorrow’s event you can make sure your child will be safe. The event is open to all of the public…you are asked to remain in your vehicle.
