Newport Utilities To Do Water Line Work On West Side Of Newport

If you live or work around the area of the new Love’s Travel Center currently under construction…some work will be going on tomorrow that will affect your availability to water for a few hours. Newport Utilities Water crews will be working Wednesday, September 29, to replace an 8″cast iron pipe from the new Loves Travel Center entrance to Carson Springs Rd. That work is scheduled to begin at 7:30 AM and will take approximately 4 hours to complete. Water will be shut off during this period. This outage will affect these areas…Carson Springs Rd., Coops Rd, West Highway 25-70, Generation Dr, Blackberry Cove Rd, Ryan Camp Rd, Green Valley Rd, Maple Ridge Way, Silver Maple Way, and Lombardy Way. This will affect several businesses in that area along with the Newport health & rehab facility.
