Two Arrested In Connection With Burned Body In Hawkins County
Hawkins County Authorities have arrested two people in connection with the burned body that was discovered around Mooresburg on September 20th. The victim was identified as 26 year old Jacob Britt Sawyer of Erwin. An autopsy revealed he had been shot multiple times and then set on fire, leading investigators to rule his death…a homicide. 23 year old Jordan Vance Coleman, also known as Jordan Vance Way and 22 year old Isabelle A. Krueger have now both been charged in connection with that homicide. Both Coleman & Kruger had been named as persons of interest in the case and were indicted by a Hawkins County Grand Jury on Friday. They are both now charged with:
First Degree Murder
Conspiracy to commit a first degree murder
Felony Murder
Especially aggravated kidnapping
Possession of Methamphetamine with intent to deliver
Possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony
Abuse of a corpse
Tampering with evidence
Coleman is being held on a $1 million bond, and Kruger’s bond is $750,000…the pair are scheduled to appear in Hawkins County Criminal Court on December 10.
