Morristown Police Arrest Local Drug Dealer

After a long investigation, Morristown police over the weekend tracked down the location of 36 year old Justin Lee Shelton who was suspected of selling drugs. Shelton was known to have numerous warrants against him in Morristown and Hamblen County…plus he had been involved in a couple of criminal offenses on Sunday morning. Easton was located Sunday at a residence on Cleveland Ave….Shelton had a knife in his hand trying to get into that home. Shelton had in his possession, over 20 grams of methamphetamine…2 grams of heroin packaged in 3 bags…6 grams of marijuana…3 Oxycodone pills…and 27 Xanax. Shelton also had baggies, scales and a straw cut to be a spoon…and a drug scale weight. Shelton also had in his possession $870 cash…believed to be proceeds from drug transactions. Shelton was arrested for possession or sale of schedule I, II, IV & VI narcotics…plus drug paraphernalia charges.
