Tennessee Defeats Kentucky For Second Time In Three Weeks

Not only did the university of Tennessee upset Kentucky on the gridiron a couple weeks ago…marking their only win this year against a ranked opponent…Tennessee defeated Kentucky on the blood donation front as well. The annual Orange vs Blue Blood drive was held last week pitting the Medic Blood Center against the Kentucky Blood Center to see which state can get the most blood donations for the week. Medic had lost in both 2019 & 2020…but scored a victory this year. The final score was Medic Blood Center with 2,361 blood donations to 1,971 for Kentucky. A resounding victory. This was the 34th annual friendly competition between the two states. Those blood donations coming at a good time as we head into the holiday season.
