Isaiah 117 House Opens in Cocke County

Today ends a long wait as the Isaiah 117 House opens in Cocke County. In the works for over 2 years, the opening of the Isaiah 117 House in Cocke County now closes one chapter and starts another. An official ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at the new house in Newport at 4:00 this afternoon. Cody will be on hand from 3:30-5:30 today for those festivities. The Isaiah 117 House provides a place for children to go who have been removed from their home but have not yet been placed into foster care.
