Two Killed In Gatlinburg Car Accident
Two people were killed in a car accident in Gatlinburg Sunday. The two victims were traveling in the same car and were from Georgia. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol…22 year old Matthew Lee Hines was driving a 2015 GMC Sierra Sunday afternoon on Wiley Oakley Drive…20 year old Ava Mae Freeman was in the passenger seat. Hines allegedly went around a curve and ran off the road to the right. Once off the road, the vehicle crashed into an embankment and overturned on the driver’s side. Early reports are that neither of the two were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. Both were pronounced dead on the scene. The Gatlinburg Police Department is investigating that crash.
