First Responders Appreciation Day Is Saturday

Saturday is First Responders Appreciation Day. A big celebration is planned at the Newport City Park from 10-2 on Saturday. Major James T. Huff Camp 2243 is presenting the celebration. The public is invited to come out and thank their first responders for their service to the community. Awards will be handed out and there will be food and music. The First Responders Celebration is being sponsored by The UT Medical Center’s Hospice Services, Tennova Healthcare and Newport Medical Center and Smoky Mountain Home Health & Hospice.
