Seymour Man Arrested for Drug Sales In Morristown
Police in Morristown pulled over a vehicle on east Andrew Johnson Hwy that was sporting the wrong tags. The driver was 43 year old David Proctor of Seymour…who had a warrant for violation of probation. The passenger, 37 year old Mellissa Hernandez of Mooresburg…who smelled of marijuana. A search was done of the vehicle and officers found 3 cases with baggies, scales, plus 26 Gabapentin pills and nearly 2 grams of cocaine. Hernandez told police there were more drugs back at the motel room. Officers found 5.1 grams of meth with more baggies and nearly 8 grams of marijuana. Proctor was in possession of $1400 in cash, mainly in $20 dollar bills…believed to be proceeds from drug sales. Proctor was arrested and charged with sale of schedule II, V & VI drugs.
