Thieves Steal From Church In Morristown
Morristown police are looking for the thieves who broke into a church. Officers were dispatched to the Saving Grace Baptist Church on Oak Street. Church member Roy Mowell stated that some unknown subjects had gained entry into the church by forcing the side door open with what appeared to be a jack handle that was left behind. Once inside, the thieves stole multiple pieces of musical equipment that belonged to Mowell and fellow church member Travis Winstead. Detectives processed the scene but police have no suspects at this time.
