Drug Overdose Leads To Discovery Of Drug Operation
A report of a drug overdose in Morristown led to the discovery of a small drug operation at that home. Police were called to the home on Lennie Avenue and found 38 year old Matt Jarnigan overdosed in a bathroom. Officers observed a bag containing over 5 grams of heroin and a large rock of crystal meth was in plain view. Jarnigan recovered and he and the other resident at the home, 35 year old Tember Easton did not want police to look through the home further. However, police were able to secure a search warrant for the home and found more drugs including crack cocaine and several sets of digital scales. Two cell phones believed to be used in drug deals were also confiscated. Jarnigan and Easton are both under suspicion of selling drugs but no arrests have been made yet as detectives are still investigating.
