Bean Station Woman Victim Of Assault

A scary incident for a Bean Station woman Tuesday morning. 36 year old Toshia Myers told police in Morristown that she was heading north on Hwy 25E, when she witnessed a car in the opposite lanes of traffic, turn around and begin following her. She identified the driver of that vehicle as her ex-boyfriend, 38 year old John Martin of Morristown. Martin began ramming Ms. Myer’s vehicle with his and eventually rammed her vehicle into the highway median. Myer’s stated that she feared for her life, and does not know what he is capable of…as Martin had showed up at her work 3 times that day causing a disturbance. Martin had also assaulted her at a convenience store Saturday morning. Her vehicle sustained substantial damage as a result of Martin’s behavior. Police have issued a warrant for John Martin’s arrest for aggravated assault.
