Rare Orange Lobster Has New Home

A rare orange lobster now has a new home…at Ripley’s Aquarium in Gatlinburg. The lobster was recently found at Chesapeake’s restaurant in Gatlinburg. Restaurant management called Ripley’s last week to tell them about the lobster that came in a recent order. The chances of finding an orange lobster are about 1 in 30 million. Ripley’s Aquarium now has two orange lobsters as they received one as a donation from Mississippi just a few weeks ago. Both orange lobsters are currently in isolation. After they are deemed to be healthy, they will be out out for the public to see at the aquarium in Gatlinburg.
