Reward Now Offered For Hit And Run Suspect
A Reward is now being offered for information leading to the arrest of Walter Noe Mendez. He is the suspect in that fatal hit and run last Saturday night in Morristown that killed a toddler. Police investigators say that Mendez drove a Toyota Scion backwards into a home on Louise Ave. then fled the scene on foot. 18 month old Anderson Lopez Perez was asleep in that home and was killed by the impact. Earlier this week Morristown authorities obtained an arrest warrant for Mendez for “Leaving The Scene Of An Accident Involving a Fatality”. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is now offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest. Anyone who sees Mendez or knows of his whereabouts is being asked to call the Morristown police department at 423-585-2701.
