Two Injured In Motorcycle Accident
Two Morristown residents were injured over the weekend in a motorcycle crash in Hawkins County. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 40 year old Michael Inman who was the driver and his passenger 37 year old Amy Steinberg were traveling southbound on state route 66, when Inman went around a curve, veered off the right side of the road into a ditch. According to the THP, the motorcycle then struck an embankment and continued through the ditch striking a driveway culvert. The 2001 Suzuki GSX then overturned and came to a rest in the southbound lane of Route 66. Both Inman and Steinberg were wearing their helmets.
