Woman Followed By Man In Silver Honda

A scary time for a Cocke County woman last week. Brittney Daniels told police that she realized she was being followed by a man driving a silver Honda down Cosby Hwy. She contacted her husband when the man followed her onto Bogard Rd. Her husband told her to meet him at a church on Lower Bogard Rd. When she arrived, her husband Matthew Daniels told her to drive back to where she had seen Two Cocke County deputies. Matthew Daniels then confronted the man in the silver Honda that had pulled into the church parking lot as well. The unknown male told Matthew Daniels that he was just following his girlfriend. Daniels then told the man that the woman he was following was his wife. The man then sped out of the church parking lot. The Daniels’ did not get a tag number on the vehicle but told deputies the silver Honda was an older model sedan with fading paint and something like a lanyard hanging from the rearview mirror. The male subject was a white male with dark skin and tattoos on his arms. Police have not identified that male subject.
