Morristown Police Issue Warrant For Aggravated Assault
Morristown police are on the lookout for a suspect who pulled a knife on an officer. Police were called Monday to a home on Delana Drive. Wendy Johnson told police that 30 year old Joshua Chevalier came in on her while she was asleep and the two began arguing. Chevalier had a knife and had cut himself on the arm and threatened to vandalize her vehicle. When police showed up, Chevalier jumped out a bedroom window. When officers caught up to him, Chevalier brandished the knife towards officers in a threatening manner. He then backed into the nearby woods and escaped. A warrant has been issued for his arrest for aggravated assault.
