Northeast Elementary Students Honor Police With Survival Kit

On Friday, September 16, students at Northeast Elementary gave the Cocke County Sheriff’s office a candy survival kit. The kit included:

Lifesaver- to remind them of how many lives they save

Starburst- for the burst of energy officers need

Payday- because they don’t do it for the money

Hershey Kisses- to show the students love for the police officers

Gum- to help them all stick together

Tootsie Roll- so they can continue to roll with the punches

Peppermint Patty- to help officers keep their cool

Snickers- to help them keep their sense of humor

Mounds- for the mounds of courage that police officers show
