Medic Mobile Blood Center Visits Newport Wednesday…With Haunted Adventure Tickets

The Medic Regional Blood Center says they have a critical need for nearly all blood types. MEDIC says they currently have a critically low inventory of O Negative, O Positive, and B Positive blood types. MEDIC says they have a low inventory for A Negative blood as well. They encourage all that can donate blood to donate.

MEDIC is the primary blood product provider for 24 hospitals in 22 counties including The Newport Medical Center and other Tennova facilitires, Morristown Hamblen hospital and other Covenant Health hospitals and the East TN Children’s Hospital and the UT Medical Center.

The Medic Mobile blood center will be in Newport Wednesday, October 12. They will be at the Cocke County Vocational school on Hedrick Drive. The mobile blood center will be on hand from 8:30-3. All donors will receive a free t-shirt, and a coupon for a Texas Roadhouse appetizer. Plus all donors will receive a free ticket to Ripley’s Haunted Adventure…just in time for Halloween.
