Early Voting Starts Today

Early voting begins today for the November 8th election. This is the federal and state general election, it is also the election for Newport city with eight candidates running for five alderman seats on the city council, and there is the election for Newport City school board. Early voting is once again being done at the location in Western Plaza in Newport. Early voting is from 9am-5pm today and every weekday…9-noon on Saturdays. Early Voting ends on November 3rd. Here is what’s on the ballot:

US House of Representatives

Tennessee Senate

Tennessee House of Representatives.

County District 3 voters will also receive on their ballots:

County Commissioner District 3 Post 2 Run-Off Election.

City of Newport voters will also receive on their ballots:

Newport Mayor

Alderman (Vote for Five [5])

City School Board (Vote for Two [2]).

Town of Parrottsville voters will also receive on their ballots:

Parrottsville Commissioner (Vote for Three [3]).
