Newport Man Jailed In Greeneville

A Newport man is in jail in Greeneville after stealing from his employer. Management with AT&T on east Andrew Johnson Hwy in Greeneville told police that employee Tavian Stewart of Newport was caught on security video taking three iPhones and an iPad over a period of a few days. Loss prevention with AT&T says the electronic devices were valued at over $3,300. Stewart was arrested and is currently being held in the Greene County Detention Center.
