Police Catch Man Attempting Break-Ins In The Carson Springs Area

The hunt for a man trying to break into homes and vehicles in the Carson Springs area came to an end on Saturday. Late Friday afternoon a man identified as Tommy Gregory who was wanted in Sevier County was seen trying to break into homes and vehicles. The Cocke County Sheriff’s office and the Tennessee Highway Patrol pursued Gregory Friday evening but lost him in the Old Sevierville area off Carson Springs Road. With the help of the Sevier County sheriff’s office and the THP, the Cocke County Sheriff’s office was able to apprehend Gregory early Saturday. No details released at what charges Tommy Gregory faces on top of his outstanding warrahnts in Sevier County.
