Greene Co. Woman Jailed For Statutory Rape

A Greene County woman remains behind bars after she was arrested this week and charged with statutory rape. 42 year old Myranda Stevens was in Greene County court yesterday where she was arraigned on charges that she had sexual relations with a 15 year old boy. Stevens was a coach in the Junior League with the Greeneville/Greene County Youth Football Assoc. where the 15 year old was a player. Investigators say an intimate relationship occurred between the boy and Stevens in August and September of 2022. An investigation was launched into Stevens in October and she was arrested this week. She is charged with six counts of statutory rape by an authority figure. Her bond is set at $180,000.
