Hamblen Co. Man Arrested In Kentucky For Drug Trafficking
A Hamblen County man is in jail in Kentucky after being caught with drugs and cash. Police in Bell County Kentucky say they pulled over 58 year old Howard Wilson of Russellville for a traffic violation. Wilson made two turns without signaling. When Wilson’s vehicle was pulled over, the K-9 officer was deployed and alerted on the passenger side of Wilson’s 2001 Ford Taurus. Police searched and found seven baggies of meth behind the vehicle’s glove box. A pill bottle containing 19 Zanax pills along with Buprenorphine was found in the center console. In the backseat of Wilson’s vehicle officers found a backpack that contained digital scales and over $4,000 in cash. Howard Wilson was jailed and charged with drug trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.
