Stolen Vehicle Reported Saturday Morning

Police responded to a home on North Street Saturday morning in reference to a stolen vehicle. Bobby Riley stated that around 5:30 that morning he went out and started his daughter’s car for her to let it warm up. Within five minutes, the car…a blue 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe…was gone. Riley told police that an older model blue pickup was across the street at the times and it left about the time his daughter’s car disappeared. Riley also told the officer that there was a Kel-Tec .380 handgun in his daughter’s car as well…both the car and the firearm have been registered as stolen.
