Dandridge PD Hosting Gun Permit Class In February

The Dandridge Police Department will be hosting another handgun carry permit class next month. While a permit is no longer needed to carry a concealed weapon in the state of Tennessee, that is not the case in other states. If you travel to other states, such as North Carolina, Kentucky or Georgia, you will need a permit to carry your weapon on you in those states. The handgun carry permit class is instructed by Detective, LT. Kenneth Lodwick of the Dandridge Police Department. Cost of the class is $65 and the next class will be on February 18th.
